Dunairn Schoolwear by Fyfe & Allan is one of the country’s leading brand names in the production and design of girls’ school uniforms.

Our main production lines are skirts, kilts, summer dresses, school and corporate ties, P.E. skirts and school pinafores. Each year for back to school we produce over 450,000 items of uniform covering, in part some 800 schools throughout the UK, Republic of Ireland, France and Bermuda.

Our customer base is primarily the retail sector in the form of professional school outfitters. We do however supply a few “school shops” which trade in a correct retail manner and having premises within their school grounds.

Our parent Company, Clan House of Edinburgh Ltd is our school uniform retail brand name. The family business was formed in 1949 and accordingly we have supplied school uniform for over 50 years. We are still very much a family concern which is run and personally managed by the Directors.

Our corporate resolution is two fold. Firstly, “Dedicated support to the Retailer”. This means it is our aim to offer school outfitters good, impartial and fair advice, provide a quality service, to produce a high standard product and finally to make it available at a price where sensible retail margins can be achieved to ensure the long term future of our trade.

Secondly, to supply, “Premier Uniforms for Premier School”. This statement will appear on all Dunairn labelling. It simply means that we make every effort to maintain high standards and an assurance to our customers that we are committed to continually offer a Premier Service.
